I am not a team. There is no assistant, no producer, no studio. If you book me, one man turns up with cases and sets up himself.

I will not build mood boards with you and I will not send you a questionnaire with forty questions. I do not have a price list either, because no two properties are alike.

I have been photographing hotels for twelve years. Before that it was mainly products, advertising and websites. Roughly half of the work happens on site, the other half afterwards at the computer. It takes three to fourteen days until the images are finished, depending on how many there are and how far they are retouched.

I always come alone. Unless you book my son as a child model as well.

If it needs to go higher, the drone comes along. It will then also spot the golf balls on the roof – at least if the property sits next to a golf course.

Golf courses are a chapter of their own, and so are the people on them. Sometimes portraits come out of it. Four of my images have made it into the Golf Post golf calendar so far: in 2020 the courses at Hohwacht and Seeschlösschen Timmendorfer Strand, in 2026 the Golf Resort Strandgrün and Hohwacht again.
